Surface Treatment Process
Surface treatment is a crucial step in enhancing the appearance and functionality of stainless steel coil grade 201. Common types include:
Film coating: Covering the surface with a protective film to prevent scratches during processing or transportation. Suitable for scenarios requiring high surface smoothness .
Polishing: Enhancing the surface gloss through mechanical or chemical methods, such as No.2B surface (light polishing after cold rolling, moderate gloss), glossy surface (mirror effect), etc., to meet aesthetic requirements for architectural decoration, kitchen utensils, etc. .
Roughening: Forming parallel lines on the surface using a grinding belt, providing both anti-slip and decorative effects. Commonly used in household appliances, elevator panels .
Pickling: Removing the oxide layer on the surface with an acidic solution to improve the corrosion resistance and welding performance of the material.
